About us

The shop Watches Jewellery Mandat was founded in 1949 by Erwin Mandat. He learned the goldsmith's trade in Brno before the Second World War. After his death in 1976, his wife Erna Mandat continued the business.

Following his tradition, his grandson Bernhard Mandat learnt the trade. From 1996 to 1999 he studied with the renowned gold and silversmith Max Gastager in Bad Reichenhall, Germany, before completing a commercial apprenticeship.

Since 1996 Bernhard Mandat has been working as a goldsmith and since 2003 he has been working intensively with piercing, piercing jewellery and the making of piercings. What could be more obvious than to combine these two passions and to present and offer the jewellery on this homepage.
