Handcrafted 18k gold piercing jewelry

For piercing jewelry, we deliberately work with 750 / 18k gold. This alloy stands for high material quality, excellent corrosion resistance and a refined, lasting surface. For jewelry intended for long-term wear, this is a decisive quality factor.

Goldpiercingart is not made for mass production. We do not use steel, cubic zirconia or 14k alloys. Instead, we work with solid precious metals, genuine gemstones and diamonds. The result is body jewelry with substance, value and a clearly visible handcrafted origin.

Goldsmith tradition since 1949

Our craftsmanship is rooted in a goldsmithing tradition that goes back to 1949, when Erwin Mandat founded the family business Uhren Schmuck Mandat. He had learned the goldsmith trade in Brno before the Second World War. After his death in 1976, his wife Erna Mandat continued the business.

Bernhard Mandat learned the goldsmith trade within this tradition. From 1996 to 1999, he trained with the renowned master goldsmith and silversmith Max Gastager in Bad Reichenhall, Germany. Bernhard Mandat has been working as a goldsmith since 1996.

Since 2003, he has focused intensively on piercing, body jewelry and custom-made piercing pieces. Goldpiercingart was created from the connection between classical goldsmithing and a deep interest in high-end body jewelry.

Custom-made instead of standard jewelry

Many Goldpiercingart pieces are made individually or adapted to the person who will wear them. Diameter, gauge, length, gold color, shape and stone setting can be adjusted on request. This creates piercing jewelry that fits technically and belongs aesthetically to the wearer.
