Collection: Jewellery of the O

The Story of O was written and published in France in 1954 by Anne Desclos under the pseudonym Pauline Réage. It was long considered a scandalous book because of its detailed depiction of female submission. Not only did it have a major influence on the development of erotic literature, but many of the rituals and symbols of today's S&M scene were adopted or derived from it. It has also been a major influence on the design of BDSM jewellery.

In the book, the "Ring of O" is described as being similar to a signet ring with a triskele.

    "The man now held out a small wooden chain with all the same rings and asked her to choose one that would fit her left ring finger. In addition to the Ring of the O, we also have Earrings of the O, which can be worn as a symbol that only the initiates can recognise. Our high quality handmade necklaces are available in both gold and silver. They are custom made and hand crafted. Our O pendants are a beautiful way to show your leanings in everyday life without everyone noticing.

We also offer 'O' piercing jewellery. Our 'O' piercing ring is great for nipple piercings and genital piercings. We have also made an 'O' piercing ring with a brilliant-cut diamond in our goldsmith's workshop. Something special for the bellybutton or certain genital piercings is the "Piercing banana with ring of O". An exceptional piece of jewellery for nipple piercings is the "Nipple ring with O", which decorates the nipple very well and offers many possibilities for play.

Another option for marking is our 'Packets of O' in oval and round shapes, both of which are individually engraved for something very unique. As a pendant for a piercing you can use our beautiful little bell.
